Haunted Space is built on Unreal Engine, and will support ray tracing when it releases on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Co-pilot is also designed to help players with visual disabilities fly the ship, which is just great to see. There are two versions of the game: The Single-player and Multiplayer Version. Space combat can be experienced in first or third-person, and developer Italian Games Factory is working on a feature it's calling co-pilot, which basically allows players to customise the level of realism they want the flight model to have, from arcade all the way to simulation. Multi-stage boss fights are just one of the ways this is going to manifest. The harvesting of this new element, predictably, unleashes forgotten horrors unto humankind, and sets off a story about a distant, ancient civilization that preceded humans. Haunted Space is set in a fictional galaxy where humanity has found a new home after the discovery of Sonic Matter, a unique source of energy.
